i just came back from a short trip to Hong Kong from the 1st to 6th March. it was kinda fun; learnt new things, cam whored and visited some of the tourist attractions that Hong Kong has to offer. ill most probably split the series to a few post because of the numerous amt of pics!

below are excerpts from my diary that i typed out each night. it may sound kinda stupid for some to actually write a diary about their holiday trip, but to me, it just makes it more memorable so that i won't forget any special details that needs to be added. plus, pictures will be added in the upcoming post to makes it more interesting. enjoy!

Hong Kong day 1.
i still cannot believe that i'm actually here in Hong Kong. seriously. it felt surreal. coz of the past few plans kept being canceled. anyway, yeah, Hong Kong is quite a nice place. the only bad thing is er..... the limited and hard-to-find muslim food. Secondly, the small sign that indicate where we are. but i love the temperature here. it's not humid and it's about 14'c. neither too hot nor too cold for me!

Today i woke up feeling both excited and upset. im not really sure why i was upset, anyway left for airport at 7. As we were checking in, we requested for window seat. the first thing that the guy said was

Guy:"im sorry, im not sure if i can allocate a window seat for you, but i'll try my best"
Lutfi: *"bullshit" it's only 730 and we're considered early to be checked in, we're like the first few to check in noe!"*
and you noe wad, the next thing i noe the lady next to him also said the exact same thing to another passenger but he got the seat.
luckily for us, we got wad we wanted. so i guess the reason for not being able to get us a window seat was just an excuse of them being lazy to find 1 for us!

Anyway, had breakfast after that with Bik Adek and we went in coz i wanted to walk ard T3 transit. it's damn cool. walked around T2 a bit before boarding. Cathay Pacific i must say is quite alright. flight got delayed initially due to rainy weather and the "peak" period for planes to take off. luckily for me, there weren't much turbulence. the way Cathay Pacific do their things is quite different from the other airlines that ive board before. as the flight was 3 hours and 6 mins, they'll make full use of that duration. and the way the serve food, no offence, but it was kinda slow. coz they'll have 1 cabin crew to attend to 1 aisle. unlike SQ and korean air where they have 2 cabin crew per aisle. anyway, food was nice, we had haigen daz ice cream! anyway, everything went on smoothly until we're about to land. i needed the toilet so bloody urgently. Hong Konh airport is quite big i must say coz we gotta walk quite long. we even had to board a train from our arrival gate to the immigration counter.

After immigration we had some confusion about how to get to the city. out initial plan was to take the Airport Express but we were adviced to take the public bus. Reached our hotel(Metropark Mongkok Hotel) about 40 mins later. checked in, washed up and off we began our "exploration"

We went to Ladies' Market, i have no idea why they call it Ladies Market as the stuffs sold there are not only for Ladies but for Men as well! after a few shops, the remaindr of the shops practically sell the same thing. -_- walked to Jade Market and Temple Street Market. had dinner at some Jordan Curry House( the ~~only halal~~ first halal restaurant that we saw.) we ordered rice, prawn curry, vege and some fish. the table next to ours we looking at us coz i think we're the only table at that time that ate rice while the rest ate naan. after that, we went back to hotel as everyone is tired. another tiring day tml! pics up next!
